Our Facility
Crimtech’s Fabrication Shop was 10 years in the making before it opened in November 2005. From the Fabrication Manager to the Foreman to the Tradesman, everyone contributed to the design. The result was a “once through line” concept utilizing a common 415 foot long main crane rail. Electrical Shop Crimtech has a dedicated 700 sq. ft. electrical shop to support our electrical capabilities. This separate, clean work centre allows room for intricate electrical panel fabrication before it is moved to the main shop for installation. Paint Shop Crimtech’s 2000 sq. ft paint and coating shop is located next to the main shop. Access is through a large 24 ft. wide by 20 ft. high door. A 40 ton (80,000 lb) power transfer cart on rails connects the two shops. The shop is also equipped with its own 5 ton (10,000 lb) crane to handle pieces once they are in the shop.
