Scope: Crimtech receives redlines from the IOR Drawing Management Unit, drafts them on a cost per drawing basis according to Imperial Drafting Standards. Crimtech has held this contract for 16 years.
Service: Drawing Upgrades
Area(s): South Grantlands / Harmattan
Types of Drawings: Plot Plans & Electrical Area Classification
Scope: Crimtech produced a complete set of plot plans based on field work for all facilities within the South Grantlands and Harmattan areas. Area Classification drawings were developed from the plot plans.
Service: Drawing Maintenance
Area(s): Imperial Pipelines APPL, Rainbow and other pipelines and terminals
Type of Drawings: Plot Plans, P&ID’s, various Electrical
Scope: Crimtech set up drawing maintenance system including drawing binders, a regular redline pickup schedule, and drawing binder updates.
Service: Redline Drafting – Metering Schematics
Area(s): Various operating areas in Central Alberta and Saskatchewan
Type of Drawings: Metering Schematics
Scope: Crimtech worked closely with the operations personnel to develop the metering schematics for the various operating areas. Crimtech also updates the metering schematics based on redlines and operations input.
Service: Drawing Maintenance
Area(s): Wilson Creek, Gilby, Ferrier, and Hanlan Robb
Type of Drawings: Plot Plans, P&ID’s, various Electrical
Scope: Crimtech setup drawing binders in each of these areas. Drawing redlines are gathered, drafted, the drawings updated, and retuned to the drawing binders on a schedule. Crimtech holds a regular Reading & Understanding / Drawing Maintenance course for Suncor employees.

Scope: Suncor budgets monies yearly for predetermined drawing upgrade projects which Crimtech completes. Crimtech has created and updated P&ID and Electrical facility drawings for well over 100 sites within all these operating areas.
Area: Ram River Gas Plant
Service: Redline Drafting – Electrical Drawings
A complete as-is set of motor schematic drawings were created for a switch house at of the Ram River Gas Plant. An electrical field technician completed the field work while the Crimtech drafting department created the AutoCAD drawing files.

Scope: Crimtech has created and revised hundreds of metering schematics drawings for ConocoPhillips during the past several years.

Crimtech has completed full mechanical as-is pick-up of approximately 20 facilities. All P&ID’s, line lists, plot plan, shutdown key, and equipment lists were created and / or revised to prepare the facilities for HAZOP reviews. Safe operating limit drawings were also created for some sites.
